Quakers have a tradition dating back more than 300 years of traveling from their home communities to undertake service to others, and in the process learning more about themselves and the world. If a Quaker meeting supports such a leading, they can express this in a travel minute to introduce them to their new community.
In this tradition, a clearness committee of the Friends Meeting of Washington met with me to consider my leading to travel to Burundi, and with their support, the Meeting minuted its support for my work in a Meeting for Worship. A copy of this minute in PDF format can be reached by clicking below.
My thanks to the members of my clearness committee and the Friends Meeting of Washington for their support.
