I am John’s older brother. Reading this helps me appreciate more and more the contributions (both near and far) that John has made. The family is still deeply grieving but John is an inspiration to us

Yes, thanks for posting this. I hadn’t heard and it took me a few hours to realize that I know some of John’s family. My prayers will be with them. What a shame, so sad.

Tears are rolling down my face as I read your words. I can visualize John waving with both hands, beaming with a smile and it makes me smile. He was always 100% authentically present, kind and compassionate beyond most; an incredible gift to everyone touched by his life. He will be so missed. Thank you for sharing your words.

Thank you so much for posting this. It’s wonderful to have a bit of connection to some other people grieving for him. I’ve sent my remembrances to the email addresses I’ve found for his local meeting in Fredericton, but I still felt like I had no one to share this with. He was such an incredible person.
